Where
is Karns?
Karns is in northwest Knox County,
Tennessee. It consists of the Beaver Creek Valley
between Beaver Ridge and Copper Ridge, from Schaad Road on the east to Pellissippi Parkway
on the west.
Karns has grown from primarily a farming area to a community with a population
of over 19,000. Mixed among the remaining farms and pastures are subdivisions,
small businesses, schools, and light industry. The Karns schools enroll over
3,700 students from Karns, Ball Camp, Hardin Valley, and Solway.
Most people commute to work but are dedicated to maintaining a high standard
of living through their involvement in community activities. Karns is a growing
community and a great place to live.

- Supported Karns Primary PTA in Slingerland Teaching

- Supported the Beaver Creek Watershed Association (2005)
- Supported Project Graduation (all-night, adult-supervised evening of fun,
free of drugs and alcohol, for new high school graduates)
